Q&A with our Bride, Faith, by Couture Events:
♥
Q: What was your favorite part of the planning process:
A: My favorite part about the planning process, was the ability to be creative, and work closely with amazing vendors, that helped my ideas truly come to life. I felt blessed to have people working closely with me, who cared as much about my wedding as I did. Finally seeing everything come together towards the end was unbelievable! It was worth all the time and going back and forth on decisions and plans. I had the best time planning my wedding, I wish I could do it all over again!

Q: Tell us about your ceremony!
A: The ceremony was beyond special. There was so much going on that day, and I was anxious and excited just to finally be married to Alex, I could not have imagined a better place to do it. I have always loved La Jolla, but knew I wanted to get married in a church. I loved the La Jolla Presbyterian for it’s location as well as its interior beauty. Blush Botannicals, helped make the church so intimate and beautiful. Saying our vows in front of our closest family, friends, and our Savior, was the best part of day.

Q:Tell us about your reception!
The reception was emotional, fun, and I thought it looked absolutely perfect. Celebrating our marriage at the reception with our favorite people, our favorite music, food, drinks, and seeing all the details come together was amazing. Every part was my favorite, but if I had to choose, I would say my dance with my Dad. It was personal and special, and his support and love means the world to me.

Q: Why did you pick the Darlington House for your reception?
A: The Darlington House speaks for itself. It is GORGEOUS! I loved how private it was. It was a wonderful space, that was perfect for the reception. I fell in love with the brick patios, rose gardens, and vintage old world flare, the moment I stepped into it. It fit my style, and what I wanted my wedding day to look like, I knew it was the place right away!

Q: What was your favorite detail?
A: There were so many details!! I think one of my favorite details of the day, was my bouquet. I really cared what my bouquet looked like! from color, to the size, to the lace wrapping, and it was more beautiful than I could ever have imagined. Blush did an amazing job, and I loved the fact that my moms cameo earrings that she had bought when she was my age, on the ponte vecchio in Florence, were pinned on the handle, it finished off the look.

Q: What was the inspiration for your wedding day?
A: My inspiration was my trips to Paris, and wanting my color palette to be completely neutral. I wanted it to be vintage, and natural, with touches of glamour. Most importantly, I wanted it to reflect Alex and my style. We wanted to incorporate things that we loved, or that were special to us.
♥
Q: What advice would you give to future brides?
A: My piece of advice would be to really enjoy the process! It only happens once, and it will be over before you know it. It is such a fun time, even though it can be overwhelming. Let your imagination run, be creative, and find a great wedding coordinator!!! Couture Events was an enormous help to me during the planning process, and on my wedding day. I felt much more confident that everything was going to get done, and done well because I was working with such a talented and organized coordinator.
