Alice in Wonderland Tea Party

This Alice in Wonderland Tea Party was to celebrate Olivia’s Birthday!!! We had a wonderful time. It started with a fabulous Tea Party, PB & J and ham & cheese croissants , strawberry & cream tea, scones, fruit, and tarts. Soon it was time for the game: Sugar Cube in Hatters Top Hat. Then it was onto arts and crafts, each girl made a paper flower to take home! Last but not least was opening gifts and cupcakes! The cupcakes were made by Hey There, Cupcake- Absolutely AMAZING! Our little ladies had a fantastic time !

The photographer Analisa Joy is incredibly talented. She captured every moment perfectly and was great with the kids. Her sweet personality make her really easy and fun to work with. I would recommend her for any occasion, birthday parties, family photos, weddings, etc.

Krystel’s 25ème Anniversaire!

Happy Birthday to Me! I can’t believe it, 25, wow, time has flown. A 25th birthday is something special and it is meant to be CELEBRATED! Since I just got back from Paris 2 months before the party I decided to have a French themed birthday! We had the party at Be Beauty in Little Italy, San Diego. My closest girlfriends and I were first pampered at Be Beauty with mani/pedi’s, waxings, and facials. Tara, co-owner of Be Beauty gave me one of the best facials EVER! Soon it was time for the party in the Jardim with all of my family and friends!!! You only turn 25 once so I decided to GO ALL OUT and bring in my favorite vendors: Blush Botanicals, Bryan N. Miller, Pow Wow Vintage Rentals, Mobile Photo Booth, and Hey there, Cupcake! They all did an INCREDIBLE JOB, really going above and beyond to make my day special.

*Blush provided the GORGEOUS florals, made up of some incredible blooms. Alex and Brittany are definitely two of the most incredible florists in THE WORLD, and two of the sweetest girls I have ever met. Every time I see their work I am completely amazed by how creative and innovative they are, always something new and fabulous!

*Bryan N. Miller photographed the night (all of the non fuzzy photos you see below were taken by him, absolutely SPECTACULAR, he really takes some of the most AMAZING photos. Bryan and his girlfriend, Adrianna, were both able to attend the party as guests as well and they are two of the kindest people, so gracious, knowledgeable, and sweet! I love having them around!

*Pow Wow Vintage Rentals provided all of the amazing vintage furniture that you see below, she did an impeccable job, she helped me visualize the event and make the most out of the space, not to mention that her pieces are BEAUTIFUL.

*Mobile Photo Booth was a BLAST, I think this was the highlight of the night for friends and family. Everyone LOVED the photo booth, and the picture strips came out so cute! Fransisco and his wife, Christina, are incredible people. She designed the footer for the photo strips, they were only just perfect! And He, well he has an UNBELIEVABLE mustache (check it out below)! FUN! FUN! FUN!

*Last but not least Hey there, Cupcake blew it out of the water with these cupcakes, cake pops, and STUNNING cake, my jaw is still on the floor! WOWWWWW! Stevi, the owner is beyond talented, each dessert was so detailed, so pretty, and oh so delicious- SIMPLY THE BEST!

*Couture Events team did the design, set up, styling, and DIY decor, and I would say they are pretty amazing if I do say so myself! ;)

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH, you made my birthday a huge success! It was positively PERFECT!

We enjoyed a day of pamper, night of Parisian party ( including delicious crepes ). YUM! I could not have asked for more! I am excited for 25, I hope this next year of life is a SWEET as my birthday party!

Reanna’s Secret Garden Birthday

It was one of my best friends birthdays this past friday and I decided that I wanted to throw her an intimate garden style birthday dinner party. I asked her to give me the names of her 12 closest girlfriends and that I would do the rest…

Here are all of the details:

I made favor boxes for each setting… This is the birthday girls favor box. She loved the dove charm…

I hung pictures of her and everyone coming to the party in the trees that surrounded us…Each ornament was made from Scrap-book paper, photos, and stickers…

I placed mini cupcakes from Heavenly Cupcake at each place setting.

I had everyone write a message to Reanna… Their message could be words of wisdom, words of encouragement, love notes, favorite moments, etc…

Then I had them hang it in the trees and then through out the night one at a time each girl would get up and share their personal message with Reanna in front of everyone and then hang it on her Wreath of LOVE… which you will see it below!

Gerber Daisies are her favorite flower so I tried to incorporate them as much as possible!

I used light pink roses to add the soft tea/garden touch to the table.

This is the Wreath of love… after each girl wrote a message and then read it aloud to Reanna they tied it onto this wreath which she got to take home at the end of the night as her birthday gift! I placed a butterfly at the top and two little birds in at the bottom just to add special touches…

At each setting their was a mini cupcake, favor box with charm sewed on, and a gerber daisy.

Happy 24th Reanna! This was such an amazing night and I know that Reanna knew how much she was loved… it was the perfect girlie dinner party. LOVE YOU!

Lauren’s Luau Birthday Party

Attire was casual but the event was exquisite!

The Luau was held at the Loews Hotel on Coronado Island.

Lauren had a the time of her life and her friends had a blast. They were bummed when the party was over and later we heard that they talked about the party for days…

Lauren’s Luau included:

DJ team: They had games and competitions planned to keep everyone involved.
Wii Station: Here the teenagers played Rock Band and many other Wii games.
Full Teen Dinner Buffet: Including mac and cheese, chicken strips, mini pizzas, etc.
Teen Bar: Including virgin mixed drinks, soda bar and water.
Candy Buffet: A colorful array of candy and sweets for the teenagers to enjoy at the event and take home.
Photographer: Dan Coronado Photography- to capture each moment of her birthday.
Tropical decor and flowers.
Specialty Cake made just for Lauren to her specifications with beautiful flowers and little surfboards, perfect for her Luau themed birthday.

Princess and Pirate Party

We had such a fun day – The San Diego Couture Events Princess and Pirate Party was a blast! The kids were so cute and each had such personality! They were adorable. We had a the pirate party first because we know that boys can get fidgety! The boys also went on a treasure hunt! As for the girls we had a sweet princess tea party and then we just took some fun pictures- the little girls loved the camera. Heres our day in pictures! Thanks to Acres of Hope Photography and all of the parents who brought their kids out we got some great shots!
